Deirdre collects quotes and has for as long as she can remember. It shouldn’t have come as any great surprise that she would find a quote that would so perfectly describe her personal and professional philosophy. She has always desired to work in a helping profession, and her role as an advisor fulfills that desire in a unique and powerful way. Deirdre's first introduction to financial and risk management came in 1997 when she worked for a multi-national insurance brokerage firm specializing in arranging tax-free financial structures in settlement of personal injury claims. When that division was subsequently sold, she continued working with the organization in the corporate risk and professional liability divisions.

Later, Deirdre made a quantum shift in focus and took a position as a Human Resources Coordinator at a long-term care facility, which employs nearly 1200 people, in Winnipeg, Manitoba. Her primary responsibilities were recruiting healthcare professionals, benefits administration and adjudication and human resource planning. In 2004, she started a financial advisory practice. Deirdre's previous experience in the financial services and human resources fields led her to specialize in personal financial and risk management, executive compensation and business continuation, and estate planning and distribution. Each and every day she has the great privilege of collaborating with talented, kind and intelligent people. Together we accomplish important things of lasting significance.
